Summary
John Fante: Moj pas Glupi: novel
The novel "My Dog Stupid" is one of the books from Fante's legacy, published for the first time only in 1986. The action of this autobiographical work takes place at the end of the sixties in Fante's home, and follows the departure of the grown-up children from Fante's large family. While getting used to the new changes, an unemployed Hollywood screenwriter and his wife find a huge, half-dead dog named Stupid on the lawn in front of their house one rainy winter day.
