Marijan Mikac, although he trained as a sailor and worked on a ship for a long time, is one of the first authors of Dadaist prose and poetry in our country. He was an active contributor to the Zenit magazine, and is best known for his "novel" The Monkey Phenomenon, which began on the Barcelona - Gibraltar - Algiers route. His poetry is antipoetic, and he himself was a follower of Micić's interpretation.
