Summary
Ivan Škrabe: Tenderness of wild plants
Although spirituality has long since been cynically banished from contemporary poetry, the lyrical subject of the singer-songwriter and poet Ivan Škrabe is still like some daring neighborhood Gilgamesh or Jacques Cousteau in search of that Whitman herb - "which means life" - without hesitation diving into the undersea of reality and language, if he is not ultimately armed with bottles of pure prana - inhale/exhale - brought to the surface of the verse a certain "sunken treasure" that occasionally takes the reader's breath away. -Damir Šodan
