In the moving novel Portrait of a soul, Miro Gavran tells us about the lives of seven women. In their stories, presented

is occupied by the painter Benjamin, a portraitist whose artisanal and above all intimate development we have been following since his birth.
With a thoughtful and unusual structure in Portrait of the Soul, the author builds a solid and interesting plot, in which we witness
impressive milestones in the lives of his vulnerable heroes. while we easily pass through six decades of life
in Croatia, from 1960 to 2020.
Portret duše is the eleventh novel of one of the most famous Croatian writers, Mira Gavran.
