In each novel, he opens up the topics of the problems of everyday relations of young people in the family, school and neighborhood, offering the opportunity for every teenager to find role models for better personal progress. In the latest novel My Titanic is not sinking, the author Vjekoslava Huljić opened up a sensitive topic of today, but at the same time showed ways out of these problems, emphasized the need for acceptance of others in which a young man finds himself in life. Huljić is one of the first domestic authors who, in a children's novel, talks about the refugee crisis, which is the dominant problem of the whole of Europe. It is a story about a little girl Lejla who got lost while fleeing with her parents to the west and found herself in Split, where she is found by children who help her to integrate into the community. The novel is primarily intended for young people, but it should definitely be read by parents, teachers and professors, so that they can more easily recognize the problem or at least become more aware of how much just one nice gesture by a young girl Lejla or anyone else can affect someone's life today, and tomorrow the whole world.
