Summary
Dobrica Ćosić: In someone else's century II
In her testament book, Dobrica Ćosić, as an important witness of the era, writes the turbulent and groundbreaking history of Serbia in the first decade of the 21st century. With this book, Ćosić ends the diary entries he kept for more than six decades. These records, in addition, shed light for the first time on Ćosić's intimate experience of life, his relationship with his family, but also his relationship with the very act of writing.
How and why is history still playing with Serbia? Where are we going? How and why did we lose Kosovo? These are just some of the questions that Ćosić thinks about, trying to understand and shed light on the role of various political, cultural and public figures in the new Serbia in the context of the new geopolitical division of the world.
