On their forty-day journey through the heat of the Mojave desert, Paulo and his wife Chris join the Valkyries who travel through the desert and spread the messages of the angels.
Valkyries is also a visionary novel by Coelho in which he talks about the new world ahead of us because "the day will come when the door will be opened to those who knock, when those who cry will be comforted...
