Ivan Antunović (Mag. Antunovich János (Antunovic); Kunbaja, June 19, 1815 – Kalača, January 13, 1888) Bač Croatian writer and titular bishop in Kalača. He wrote novels and short stories. He is considered the first revivalist of Bač Croats. He persistently worked to awaken Croatian national consciousness among the Croatian ethnic groups of Bunjevacs and Šokacs, who were then exposed to intense assimilationist and extermination policies.
