Summary
Sigmund Freud: Introduction to Psychoanalysis
"Introduction to Psychoanalysis" is a collection of lectures by Sigmund Freud held between 1915 and 1917. Those twenty-eight lectures provide a basic overview of his current views on the unconscious, dreams and the theory of neurosis, but also bring new professional content intended for more advanced readers. These lectures became his most popular and most translated work. However, some of the views expressed in the "Introduction to Psychoanalysis" were later modified or revised in Freud's later works; In 1932, he offered a second series of seven lectures - numbered from 29 to 35 and titled "New Lectures for Introduction to Psychoanalysis" - as a kind of supplement (although these lectures were never held publicly, and were characterized by a different, sometimes more polemical presentation style).
