Astrological symbolism would give at least ten times more to medicine than ordinary symbolism gave to the improvement of mathematics. If we start with Hippocrates, we would have to quote him: "A doctor who does not know astrology is more like an ox than a doctor"! But how could they insult the army of well-wishers who are trying to defeat cancer, heart attacks, epidemics, psychoneuroses...? Legend has it that all the people in Atlantis were doctors. Medicine is as old as mankind. We inherited all the knowledge from the Egyptians, the very nation that we claim is the inheritor of knowledge. The first priests did not have telescopes or tables, with great difficulty they determined the movements of the Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn - and yet they set horoscopes and had great success, especially in astromedicine; in fact they provided the basis for medical science in general. We have perfected instruments, precise tables of movements of celestial bodies, but also a perfect allergy to cosmogram analyses. Astrological symbolism would give at least ten times more to medicine than ordinary symbolism gave to the advancement of mathematics.
