Summary
Rudyard Kipling: The Jungle Book
R. Kipling received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907 primarily thanks to his books for young people. In Stribor's edition, The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book were published in Croatian for the first time in their entirety in an excellent translation by Sanja Lovrenčić. Stories about the boy Mowgli, who was raised by a she-wolf and his upbringing among friendly wild animals in the jungle, have traveled the world and are an indispensable part of every childhood.
