The United States and Great Britain are rocked by a series of random murders of various mid-ranking government officials. These murders are carried out by Islamic fundamentalists of various profiles. But there is one common thread that leads to the mysterious "Preacher," a mysterious person who inhabits the dark corners of the Internet. The United States government soon puts "The Preacher" on its "kill list". The person whose name is on this document, which is the best-kept state secret, must die. This mission is entrusted to a former Marine, one of the best secret agents America has at its disposal. His task is to find this shadow called "The Preacher" and neutralize it. But who is the mysterious Preacher and what is his secret? From this point, Forsyth's novel becomes an incredibly exciting and suspenseful spy thriller with lots of unpredictable twists.
