Sam Shepard: Motel Records
From stable boy, orange picker, shepherd, sheep shearer, porter, waiter, to rock drummer, director, Oscar-nominated actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright - he summarized the life path of the "intellectual loner", romantic and rebel Sam Shepard. This "cowboy of the American theater", but also "the most important American playwright of his generation", transferred his life experience full of holes into about 40 dramatic texts and scripts of cult films such as "Zabtiskie Point" and "Paris, Texas".
Unfortunately, it is less known that in addition to the mentioned texts for viewing and listening, Shepard also published several great books of poems, poetic stories and diary notes. Therefore, "With added joy, we point to more than 250(!) illustrations with which we supplemented these, mostly autobiographical, lyrical sketches.
