Summary
Robert Graves: Poems - my selection
Selected poems by Robert Graves contain an overview of his great poetic oeuvre with all major themes and motifs covered: from Welsh myths and legends, through New Testament motifs, to naturalistic descriptions of the horrors of the First World War. Prepjev Dinko Telećan represents the first translation of Graves' poetry into Croatian.
Robert Graves (1895-1985) is one of the most respected and influential English poets of the 20th century, and as a novelist he achieved great success by popularizing historical themes in a completely non-trivial way, giving the characters of his novels contemporary liveliness and plasticity. The Book of Songs: My Choice is part of Sandorf's project to publish Selected Works of Robert Graves.
