Fr. Lovro Mihačević: Around Albania, impressions from the trip. Zagreb, Matica hrvatska 1911. Fra Lovra's most read book. The first part of the book is a travelogue. The second part talks about the Catholic Church in Albania: they make up only 10% of the population there. The remaining part talks about the conditions in that country (economy, traffic, trade), customs (marriage, burial, etc.), literature (folk and artistic). As a superior, Friar Lovro had to visit his province as a matter of duty, and his stay in Albania from thirteen to fourteen years gave him plenty of opportunities for that. At that time, interest in Albania appeared in the world, but also among Croats, so it is understandable that Fr. Lovro tried to satisfy this curiosity. Perhaps he received encouragement from the Austrian side for this; the book was already translated into German in 1913. The book contains 26 photos and one topographical map.
