Summary
Tin Ujević: Prelude to the barrel
Prose
The poet's inner labyrinth already brings the existentialist framework of poetics, the captivity of the poet, poetry, and language into ontologically postulated skepticism. Stojić will reveal the existentialist poetic framework in Tino's portrayal of the dungeon of the body, so Stojić's preface shows the literary-historical vertical from Tino's request to revolutionize forms and language, to the poet's effort to penetrate into new ontological spaces. [...] When considering the evaluation of Stojić's choice of poetry and prose, it is necessary to emphasize that the editor showed a gift for choosing not only representative texts, but also those poems, lyrical prose and critical texts that Tina represents as a lyrical legislator, but also an essayist who drew Croatian literature and the entire interliterary South Slavic community into the context of the world, the culture of the great languages and at the same time the values of those cultures to the South Slavic space (from the review by Prof. Dr. Enver Kazaza).
