Summary
B.D. Benedict: Soul Traders
The author of Karma Tales and Parallel World tells a modern story of contemporary American life dictated by amoral centers of power through film and media. Without any reflection on aesthetics, morality, the meaning of life, the daily life of successful and rich people is cruel, irrational and related to crime, pornography, political crime and satanic practices. The novel is interesting, dynamic and despite the seemingly fantastic elements, in the real civilization of death and evil, good wins. The plot of this contemporary novel begins in Hollywood, and moves to continental crisis hotspots: the cocaine war in Latin America, child pornography in the Philippines, illegal trafficking in nuclear weapons from the territory of the former Soviet Union, etc.
