The main character - Maximilian Rex embodies the author's faith in a man who fights to build a world where wisdom and kindness will prevail. Benedict is a Canadian writer and film director of Croatian origin. He published a dozen novels and popular scientific books. He has a master's degree in industrial design and a doctorate in Slavic literature at Columbia Pacific University. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
