Summary
Emir Kusturica: Do you see that I do not know
Kusturica's prose, Do you see that I do not see, represents an original combination of several different types of storytelling. It has a recognizable documentary layer, which rests on an autobiographical basis. Here we can clearly recognize the narrator and the hero as prominent artistic figures of our time. The story itself, Can you see that I don't, has two heroes. These are Peter Handke and Emir Kusturica: Kusturica tells a story about Handke, although Handke often tells us something about Kusturica in that story.
