Decades later: Rider and a selective bibliography of Serbian literature 1991–2021.

Decades later, they are a kind of fiction chronology that can serve as a "handbook" for getting to know contemporary Serbian literature. The offered collection, the first of its kind in our country, made according to the principle: one author, one text, is therefore not intended as an anthology of contemporary Serbian literature, although it is possible to find anthological achievements in it, i.e. excerpts from works of anthological value. It is also not an anthology of authors, although the authors represented in the rider certainly deserve a place in one of the anthologies of Serbian literature. Seventy representative texts/excerpts from the same number of authors were selected and arranged in this edition in such a way that they form a kind of provisional, mosaic narrative that presents the readers with a complex "story" about Serbian literature and its view of important moments, processes and experiences in the thirty-year period after the breakup of Yugoslavia. This means that this publication is not just a collection or a conglomerate, but a specially designed set of texts that are interconnected in a very specific sense, enabling reading as a panoramic or kaleidoscopic view of the problems of personal and collective self-understanding in an artistically intoned form. The selection of texts is accompanied by short notes about the authors, as well as a selective bibliography of Serbian literature of the indicated period.
