Islam was a Turkish border fort. It is depicted as a quadrangular fort with two quadrangular bastions placed diagonally. In the suburbs we see the village of Islam. This Mortier view of Islam is taken entirely from Coronelli's atlas "Isolario dell Atlante Veneto".
