700 dana opsade | Tko je upalio mrak?

Ivanković Željko

Summary

Željko Ivanković: 700 days of siege | Who turned on the darkness?

The book 700 Days of Siege is a war testimony, a war diary from besieged Sarajevo. Although a first-hand testimony of all the most dramatic moments of the tragedy of a city and a country, it is primarily a literary work, because it is the personal diary of a writer who lives personal experiences of birth and death, joy and tragedy in that war.

The book Tko je palali mrak? with the subtitle Sarajevo glossary is a book that seems like a postmodernist novel dictionary/lexicon, but in fact it was written as a lexicon with a diary which was supposed to explain the basic terms (names, locations, concepts) of an incredible war at the end of the 20th century on European soil.
