Lakoprist finally fulfilled his long-standing desire to return to the world where he belongs. Orpheus fraudulently keeps the book in order to give it to his principal, Basta. Farid, whom Orpheus did not want to read together with Lightfinger, asks Meggie for help. She cannot resist the call of unknown, magical lands, so together they go to the Ink World to warn Lightfinger that the enemies are coming back. But the world is not what they expected. Fenoglio admits that the story got out of control and started giving birth to unknown, even evil characters. In the meantime, Orpheus read into the story Mo, Reza, Basta and Mortola, who is eager for blood and revenge for the death of Capricorn. Will Meggie and Fenoglio be able to control the story together? Blood of Ink is the second sequel to the famous trilogy The World of Ink by Cornelia Funka. The author's idea that characters from books can move into the real world, and real people into books, found fertile ground in these novels and captured the hearts of readers around the world. The trilogy has been crowned with numerous literary awards.
