Summary
Ljetno kino, in addition to being a collection of poetry, can also be called a letter in the sacred sense, a testimony of the contemporary moment that does not take sides, does not suggest or invite, but shows the world as it really is, and after reading it, teaches us how to accept every bit and moment of this contradictory, eerily beautiful reality. Bearing in mind that Mili Đukić would probably laugh at this view of Summer cinema, because not even Buddha could be Buddha today, this collection of poetry, this letter, and instructions on how to plant a fig seed in yourself and provide opportunities for sincere breaks and meditation in the future. At the same time, the language Mili Đukić speaks to us is a language of exceptional simplicity and the kind of reality that catches us when we turn off the light and lie down in bed. Summer cinema is a film about which it will be difficult to write a review, because after reading it you realize that what you are criticizing is yourself.
