Summary
Zvonimir Balog: The pig lied again
Zvonimir Balog, the most famous Croatian writer for children and young people, is the author of the novel The pig lied again, which Mozaik knjiga is publishing for the first time. It is an adventure story about a little girl, Ružica, who, returning from school, simply got lost and experienced a two-day magical adventure in no less than the city dump. At that dump, she met two new fantastic friends who eventually followed her home, and her parents and friends heard the story (and can read it) as Ružiča's grandfather wrote it down.
The book is intended for children of younger school age who will be close to the motives of this adventure-fairytale story, and many of them will also be found in other works of children's literature written by our best-known and most published writer and poet for children, young people and adults, very happy to serve as inspiration for new and original novels, poems and stories. After Etiquette 3, this is Zvoimir Balog's fourth book for young people, and the first novel that has not been published so far.
Illustrations for the book and cover were made by Niko Barun.
