Summary
Éva Pap: Before sunset
Sarajevo, 1950. On that sunny afternoon, a handsome young man from Subotica named Mijo had no idea that he would meet Meda, a brown-eyed beauty with a red necklace around her neck. After several years of relationship, fate will intertwine their threads with the arrival of two letters: one contains Medina's business offer for Split, and the other Mia's invitation to military service in Jesenice. Aware that their plans for the future together are questionable, the two spend one last passionate night in the name of the great love they feel for each other.
Twenty years later, Mijo returns to Sarajevo for business reasons. As he walks through the famous streets, memories of the good times he spent with Meda during his student days come flooding back. Although he is now a family man and lives a more secluded life, certain secrets from the past will make Mia reconsider her long-ago decisions. When Mia is overcome with anxiety due to unclear past events, she will wonder if their fates could have been different.
