Summary

Zane Grey: The Forest Man

*The book does not have a back cover
The plot follows the hero, the forest man, who is actually an individual who lives in isolation, deeply connected to nature. This novel is rich in descriptions of wild American flora and fauna, while also exploring the characters' deep internal struggles, conflicts with the environment, and interpersonal relationships in extreme conditions. The theme of the struggle with nature and loneliness and the difficult internal dilemmas of the characters occupy a central place.

Although the novel contains action elements, Gray emphasizes the internal struggles of the characters, their moral dilemmas, as well as their relationship to the environment. This is perhaps one of the reasons why many critics consider "The Man of the Woods" to be one of the best examples of Gray's ability to create deep characters who are not just a reflection of the struggles of the wild west, but have complex personalities and dilemmas.
