There are no rules in love. Jane Jackson knows that true love is just a fiction. Almost like a dream - she works as the creative director of Clearwater Studios. And her new motto is: work hard until you succeed. This time, admittedly, she went a little overboard in her efforts. The word "little" is even mild for her current situation. She was in desperate need of approval for her first film project and everything was going perfectly until up-and-coming Dan Finnegan, a handsome green-eyed director of photography, came along. Because of him, she lied on one date that Jack Quinlan was a good friend of hers and that he would compose a song for the film. The problem is that they haven't seen or heard from each other in fifteen years - ever since they kissed for the first time, and she declared her love for him right after that (it was a bit of an overreaction on her part, but they were just kids; he must have already forgotten that awkwardness). The only thing left for her is the impossible: she travels with Dan (whom she can't stand at all) to a festival on Long Island, and in just a week she has to find Jack (with whom she has no contact at all) and persuade him to cooperate. Can anything go wrong?
