Summary
John Grisham: Time to Kill
Grisham's debut "Time to Kill" follows a different course than Grisham's usual action thrillers. This is an introspective, somewhat autobiographical court story about a young lawyer who takes on the role of a defense attorney in a trial that, due to its incendiary racial component, will attract unprecedented media attention when two petty criminals rape an eleven-year-old black girl, and her father takes justice into his own hands. This case will reveal how much hidden tension is packed into the rift between black and white America.
