Summary
Miguel De Unamuno: Magla
Novel or Nivola
A philosophical novel that tells the story of the fate of Augusto Perez and his mysterious death. Through the form of dialogue and monologue, where the fable is in the background (it is a specific form that the author himself calls nivola), Unamuno leads the reader through the experience of deep skepticism that permeates the spirit of the main character and depicts his somewhat neurotic state, which existential, Hamlet-like doubt leads him to. This edition is the second translation into Croatian (translated by Ana Kalenić) of this work, and contains four reviews of Unamun's "The Fog", among which the one written by the author himself for the first Croatian edition in 1929, a depiction of the life of Miguel de Unamun in pictures, and the introduction to "The Fog" by Mario J. Valdes should be highlighted.
