Summary
Miguel de Unamuno: Three instructive novellas and one prologue
The writer of "The Tragic Sense of Life" and other great works is presented in Croatian translation and in the novellas he calls instructive, as Cervantes also achieved in his work. Unamuno, however, uses a special method of using other genre expressions in his works, so the novellas will be dialogically structured. General human themes in the text, e.g. the desires of men and women, will be imbued with biblical motifs, etc. Therefore, this is a reading that affects the soul in its personal reality as opposed to, as the writer of the foreword Ciriaco Moron Jarroyo states, the usual realistic understanding.
