Zane Grey: Sand Stairs
Pearl Zane Gray (Zanesville, January 31, 1872 – Altadena, October 23, 1939) – American novelist. He gained wide popularity with his adventure novels about the world of cowboys and the Wild West. He wrote 50 novels, and many of them have been adapted for the screen. Zane published his first novel Bety in 1904. But his novel The Riders of the Rude Sage, published in 1912, brought him great popularity. It became the best-selling novel in the US up to that time, selling 750,000 copies. After that, he tried to publish about one novel a year.
