Summary
Robert Jordan: The Dragon Reborn
The wheel of time turns and Ages come and go, leaving behind memories that become legends. Legends fade into myths, and myths are long forgotten when the Age that spawned them reappears. In the Third Age, the Age of Prophecy, the World and Time hang in the balance. All that was, all that will be, and all that is can still fall under the Shadow. Winter has stopped the war, but people are still dying, summoning the Dragon. But where is he? Rand al'Thor reveals himself as the Dragon Reborn. Traveling to the great fortress known as the Tyra Stone, he sets out to find the sword Callandor, which can only be wielded by a prisoner of the Light, and discover if he is truly destined to fight the Dark One. The team following Rand is being chased by Psomrats. Moiraine and her friends know that a fight with them is inevitable, but they do not lose hope that they will reach the Heart of Stone in time for the next great trial that awaits the Dragon Reborn.
