Maxim Biller, born in Prague in 1960 to Russian parents, emigrated with his parents and sister to Germany. He is the author of about twenty books, novels, novellas, short stories, plays, essays, which, apart from Germany, were successful in the Anglo-Saxon world. He is the winner of several international awards.
