Zane Grey: West of the Pecos
At the center of the plot is Terrill “Terri” Riles, who was taught from a young age by her mother to hide her gender and grow up as a boy—in order to survive and gain knowledge about life in the Wild West. After the death of his parents, he pretends to be the boy Terrill and receives the protection of the Lambeth family. As he approaches adulthood, he encounters love dilemmas and dangers.
