Summary

Memories and Contributions to the History of Dalmatia of the Republic of Croatia

The First Decade, Book Six

The sixth volume of the edition "Memories and Contributions to the History of Diplomacy of the Republic of Croatia" contains the works of nine Croatian diplomats, ambassadors, M.Sc. Branko Salaj, MSc. Jerko Vukas, Drago Štambuk, Ph.D. Andrija Kojaković, Zvonimir Marković, Hidajet Biščević, Darko Bekić, Ivica Tomić, Vera Tadić.

Analyzing the activities of the aforementioned diplomats towards the receiving countries, a wide spectrum of their distribution is obtained with a large number of inhabitants of these countries, which number more than a quarter of the inhabitants of the globe, because among them are China, the Russian Federation, Great Britain, Iran, Turkey. These are also countries with different cultures and civilizations, religions, social arrangements, historical heritage, economic experiences, various degrees of social development and the like. Thus, our diplomats were in contact with the vast riches of the reach of the human species in their historical development, which allowed them to significantly influence our overall development, but also to convey to them some of the treasures and achievements from our cultural and historical heritage that they had not had the opportunity to learn about before.
