Summary
Zvonimir Freivogel: Kriegsschiffe der Königlich Jugoslavischen Marine 1918-1945
Until now, apart from maritime encyclopedias, no book has been published in Croatia that would describe in detail all the ships of the former Royal Yugoslav Navy, their technical data and fate. The famous naval author Zvonimir Freivogel devoted himself to this topic in order to describe all the combat and auxiliary ships of this former navy, some of which came from the inventory of the Austro-Hungarian navy.
The rest were ordered and built in Germany, some in British, French, Belgian and Yugoslav shipyards. They operated on the sea, rivers and lakes until the collapse of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1941, and some later operated under the Italian and German flags. Recently, some of the veterans served under the flag of the new Yugoslav Navy, but that is another story that will be discussed in the next book.
The book is written in German.
