Miško Šuvaković is the editor of a collection of historiographical, analytical and interpretive texts entitled Dišan and readymade, which presents the concept and phenomenon of readymade and its essentially revolutionary role in the development of fine, visual and musical art of the 20th century. The collection discusses various artistic phenomena that arose from Duchamp's readymades: surrealist poetic objects, neodade, fluxus, conceptual art, appropriation art tactics and similar topics.
The book contains texts that interpret the work of the French avant-garde artist Marcel Duchamp in our midst, as well as the context of his life and creation, a phenomenological analysis of readymades is given, and Duchamp's relevance in time is critically theorized. postmodern, leads an aesthetic discussion of the readymade and Duchamp's tradition, considers the influence of his experiments in the domain of music and the strategy of the readymade on the experimental work with sound in sound-art and, finally, a materialist Altserian analysis of Duchamp's artistic work and ideology.
