Summary
Agatha Christie: A Caribbean Mystery - The Miss Marple Cases
As Miss Marple sat basking in the Caribbean sun, she was overcome by a barely perceptible dissatisfaction with her own life. The heat, it's true, alleviates her rheumatism, but here, in paradise, nothing ever happens. Finally, her attention is drawn to an old soldier who spreads the story of the murderer he had the opportunity to meet at length and wide. And just as he was about to show her his picture, the major was suddenly distracted by something and distracted, it would turn out - with fatal consequences... He never finished his story. Everyone thinks he died of natural causes, except Miss Marple. Then paradise turns into hell, murders happen and everyone is suspicious.
