Summary
Branko Ve Poljanski: Collected Poems
From the Dadaists he took slogans, typographical fantasies and the poeticization of the colloquial speech of the masses and the street, from the Futurists preoccupation with technique, the present and the immediate environment, from the Russian avant-garde artists arrogance, from the Surrealists automatic writing and social rebellion, from the Expressionists kineticism and the need to find and mark a point of meaning in general nothingness that can count on an artistic need. And yet, all these influences and actions are perverted in the poetry of Zenist Branko Ve Poljanski, turned on their backs by (self)negation and the ironic deviation of the lyrical subject. poetic speech, cleansed of cultural and literary deposits.
