Summary
Croatian-Swedish conversation manual
Swedish is one of the North Germanic languages, and it is estimated that more than 10 million people speak it today. Only in 2009 did it acquire the status of an official language in the Kingdom of Sweden. However, it should be noted that this language is one of the two official languages in the Republic of Finland and the only language in use on the Åland Islands, which, despite certain administrative and political independence, territorially belongs to Finland. Together with Danish and Norwegian, Swedish belongs to the subgroup of Eastern Scandinavian languages, and due to socio-historical circumstances, their speakers today will in principle be able to communicate well with each other.
This conversation manual is primarily intended for tourists, but it can be used by anyone who wants to learn the basics of the Swedish language as well as the first and indispensable step in mastering this beautiful language.
