Summary
Leonardo da Vinci: Dai Taccuini | Notes
Bilingual (Italian-Croatian) collection of Leonardo da Vinci's texts selected from ten originals. The original Leonardo's text runs on the left pages, and the corresponding Croatian translation on the right. These are fables, fairy tales, legends, jokes, riddles, prophecies and shorter discussions from the pen of the Renaissance genius. At the beginning, there is a more extensive introduction by the editor of the book about the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci, and each part of Leonardo's texts is accompanied by a shorter introductory explanation. The book is illustrated with Leonardo's sketches and drawings, and the author's original texts are printed in a letter (Leonardo font) that is an imitation of the author's handwriting, but for legibility they are not printed mirror-like, as Leonardo usually wrote.
