Summary
Stephen King: Despair
first edition
The desert state of Nevada in the summertime is the stage for a new novel by the master of horror. Vultures, coyotes, pincers and spiders led by a dark entity that, after being discovered in an old collapsed mine, inhabits the body of a human victim, attempt to conquer God's kingdom on Earth for their evil purposes. But God and those who believe will not give up and will defeat evil, which feeds on their sorrow and death, with the help of their faith. A distorted, mirror image of this novel was published by King under the pseudonym Richard Bachman under the title "Stegovnici". Whoever read "Despair" with pleasure should not miss "Stegovnike".
