Summary
Delalić Munib: U znaku vage
„... The poems in the book U znaku vaga are a kind of poetic diary in the making, they live from recording and trembling over the discoveries of what and how language can be used, how to describe and define one's own being in the world, they have an undertone of the first, rigor and precision, but also the sound of surprise that language produces, brings, energy that is released without knowing its cause and consequence:
"Someone / quietly / knocked on the door. // We whispered: / Autumn. // And huddled even more. / Huddled together. // Mother next to father. / Me next to brother. // After that / came the rest."
Silence and excitement that ends in the unfinished, what is known and what is not known. The end of the poem is imbued with the knowledge and experience of the speaker, and it is up to the reader to recognize him, surrender to the foreboding of what is expected....”
