Summary
Aleksandar Ivić: Introduction to Analytic Number Theory
This book should provide elements of Analytic Number Theory, one of the most important areas of Number Theory. Analytical Number Theory studies the problems of Number Theory using various analytical means. The book, which is the first of its kind in the Serbian language, was created from the course Introduction to Analytical Number Theory, which was authored by the 1994/95 academic year. held at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Belgrade. The text is intended for final year students of mathematics, postgraduates as well as all those who want to get to know this field more seriously. The material presented, both in terms of quantity and quality, corresponds to what can realistically be covered in a one-year course with a fund of two hours per week. Students are required to have a standard knowledge of real and complex analysis, with some things, such as the gamma function, being covered in the text at appropriate places.
